It's all about stories.

By day, I write nonfiction. As a freelance writer with a focus on brand storytelling, I’m part of Tigermoth Creative. Together, we craft story-driven creative for brands that inspire us. I am also a mentor for aspiring writers and an after-school creative writing instructor using the nationally recognized Writopia method.

By night, I cultivate the fictional characters that cross my mind. My novel, The Promise of Water, is represented by Elizabeth Copps at the Maria Carvainis Agency. I am also working on several short fiction pieces and a second novel. You can find my short fiction in the Cumberland River Review and the forthcoming Chautauqua Literary Journal.

WINNER of the Caledonia Novel Award. Runner-up in the Whidbey Emerging Writers Contest. Finalist in The Great Novel Contest. Semi-finalist in the Faulkner-Wisdom Competition. Semi-finalist for the William Van Dyke Prize. First place in Gotham Writers' 2014 Very Short Story Contest.
