Andrea Araujo, Ph.D., RCC, BCN is BCIA Board Certified in Neurofeedback, and attends clients at Empower Health Clinic in Vancouver, Canada. She completed her Doctorate in Psychology at the University PUC Goiás in 2017, while living in Brazil for eight years. Andrea holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, and her thesis work on trauma treatment was published in the Journal of Integral Theory and Practice (2008). While she was completing her MA, Andrea also obtained Level 2 Certification as a Yoga Therapist (CYT) from Loyola Marymount University and became a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (RYT-500).
Andrea originally started her career in Psychology earning a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada. Andrea is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB) and the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR).
