Hi, I’m Andrea. I am a sophmore at NCCU, majoring in nursing. I work as a nurse assistant at UNC Rex Healthcare. I am very hard working, motivated, and an awesome encourager. I love to see individuals doing great things with their life. I have always wanted to be in the medical field, but wanted to be a doctor as a child. After finishing my nursing degree, I plan to pursue a masters degree as a nurse practitioner or a nurse anesthetist.

I was born in Washington DC and moved to NC when I was 12. I was never a social person, but I opened up more and more as I got older. I am hoping this class helps me open up to people that I do not know. I am hoping to be comfortable with public speaking as well. Public speaking is by far one of my hardest challenges that I have encountered.

My time at NCCU has been an amazing experience thus far and I plan to keep it that way. Achieving my goals academically and professionally setting high standards for myself.
