I am currently a senior studying psychology and communication. After graduation in May 2014, I plan to pursue my PsyD. in Clinical Psychology.
For the past three years, I have worked on campus as a bartender. This has helped me develop my communication skills, as well as learn skills to adapt to quickly changing environments.
I have been a research assistant at the Center for Parent-Child Studies since January of 2012. This has helped me to gain experience in data entry and coding in SPSS format, as well as interaction with participants going through a psychological study.
This summer, I interned at the Elgin Mental Health Center in the Human Resources department. This helped me gain skills as related to working for a state department, as I plan to pursue employment at a state mental health facility following my completion of graduate school.
