Hi. I'm Andrea, but everyone calls me Andy.

I've worked in Academic Libraries for over 30 years. I love that libraries are places for equal access to information and are safe spaces for diverse social groups.

Likes:

Intersectionality, social justice, being vegan, books, movies, theatre, live local independent music, tattoos, coffee, instagram and cats

Dislikes:

Injustice, hate speech, mangoes, mushrooms and uncomfortable shoes

During the 2020 lockdown in Melbourne I learned to make cocktails. I consider this an important life skill. As is communicating. I'm an introvert who is very chatty on social media. I've also been blogging for over a decade.

On top of my job, I've found myself as the social media coordinator for my workplace. I'm looking forward to new and creative ways of communicating online.
