Andrea is a dedicated advocate for mental health. As a full-time therapist, she provides behavioral health services to clients (children, adolescents, and adults) with chronic and persistent psychiatric diagnoses in Atlanta and the surrounding suburban areas.
Andrea also provides family psychoeducation which involves working with families, caregivers, and friends who are supportive persons with mental illnesses. Education includes information about diagnoses and training in communication skills, problem solving, and coping skills.
Not a believer in "one size fits all" approach, Andrea utilizes a multidisciplinary techniques using several therapeutic models to promote individuality, cultural awareness, healing, and personal growth.
It takes courage to seek counseling services to maintain good mental health, healthy relationships, and a positive sense of self.
