Andre Anderson Ferguson

Formerly of the Ferguson Police Department, Andre Anderson leverages nearly three decades of law enforcement experience on behalf of the public. In 2017, he became special operations commander for Glendale, Arizona. The position requires him to partner with major entertainment organizations and sports franchises to ensure that local events are carried out safely and successfully. Prior to his present position, Andre Anderson worked for the Glendale Police Department as commander of criminal investigations for 28 years, and for the Ferguson Police Department as interim chief.
A professionally engaged law enforcement leader, Mr. Anderson belongs to the International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Police Executive Research Forum. Also active with numerous nonprofits, he sits on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley. He has also worked with troubled youth as a mentor and teacher.
Mr. Anderson holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University and a bachelor’s degree in public safety administration from Grand Canyon University. He underwent further training through the Community Policing Arizona Institute, as well as the FBI National Academy.
