Andreas Schreiber

I’m head of the Department for Distributed Systems and Component Software at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) (DLR at a glance). I received a degree in industrial mathematics from Clausthal University of Technology. My research fields include distributed computing, mobile systems, HPC, social networks, user interfaces, software engineering, and software quality assurance. I’m also an Open Source advocate at DLR. I organize events for Python in High-Perfomance and Scientific Computing. In 2011, I co-founded Medando, a startup that develops mobile apps and web applications for health care and medicine.
