André Robinson has an extensive background as a producer, executive producer, community activist, consultant, promoter, project manager and technical consultant on feature films, Broadway and regional theatre plays and musicals, documentaries, television and variety shows, concerts, conferences and other special events. He currently serves as Executive Producer Carbon-Fibre Media, and as the director/producer of the reality show, The Good Fellas of Baltimore. He was general manager for marketing and production entity, Favor International; executive producer for Crossroads Theatre Company, (recipient of the 1999 Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre and nominated for 4 Tony Awards including Best Musical, 1999); executive director of the Black Filmmaker Foundation and artistic director of The Roger Furman Theatre in Harlem. His clients have included New Line Cinema, TD Jakes Enterprises, State Farm Insurance, Sony Studios, McDonald’s Corporation, Gospel Heritage Foundation, Phillip-Morris, Sony Music, The Harlem Week Festival, Miramax Films, Radio City Music Hall Productions, Saturn Motors, NBC, The Fulfillment Fund and the Lincoln Theatre in WDC. He has served on the boards of the Westside Waldorf School, Crossroads Theatre, the African Film Festival, The Lincoln Theatre, NY City College’s Aaron Davis Hall, and the NJ Theatre Group. Andre served as a grants panelist for the National Endowment on the Arts for several years and as teacher and choreographer for the National Dance Institute, and as an instructor for the Center For Theater Techniques in Education.
