Andrew Lake

Andrew Lake is a recent graduate who works as Research and Development Manager at Lakefront Development Group. In this role, he conducts market research and detailed analysis for commercial real estate development projects across the Pittsburgh and South Florida markets. He is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies that identify and support new opportunities for investment and growth. His skills include financial analysis, market research, project management, quality management systems, and client relations, which he applies to his professional responsibilities.

Andy Lake earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship with a concentration in Finance from the University of South Florida. In 2020, he was awarded the Green and Gold Scholars Award, which provided tuition assistance to first-year out-of-state students with strong academic records. Beyond his studies, he was active in the Sigma Chi Fraternity for four years. As Ritual Chair, he promoted the values of the organization while also organizing fundraising events for the Huntsman Cancer Institute, highlighting his dedication to community service.

His earlier education showed a balance of academics and athletics. At Marshall Middle School, Lake earned Honor Roll recognition during the 2014–2015 academic year. While at North Allegheny Senior High School, he earned multiple Scholar Athlete Awards for football, basketball, and lacrosse. His leadership qualities were also evident at Summer’s Best Two Weeks Camp, where counselors recognized his hard work, positive outlook, and encouragement of others. He graduated from high school with a 3.6 GPA, received recognition as a multi-year Scholar-Athlete, and was a finalist for the John Rullan Lacrosse Scholarship in 2020.

His professional experience began early with an internship at SRI Quality System Registrar in Wexford. Andrew became the youngest individual in company history to achieve an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certificate after completing a two-month training program with SAE International. His work at SRI included assisting with quality management system audits and helping improve communication processes between clients and internal teams. He also gained valuable customer service and teamwork experience through earlier roles at The Toy House and Emporio Restaurant.

Andrew is proficient in Microsoft Office, has foundational skills in Python programming, and speaks basic Spanish. His community contributions include volunteering with the Miracle League, an organization that helps children with disabilities experience baseball in an inclusive environment.

Born in Marietta, Georgia, he values family connections, including his four siblings, niece, and nephew. He enjoys golfing with a 14 handicap, playing basketball and football with his siblings, and also takes an interest in traveling, fishing, cooking, and aviation, having taken lessons during high school.

As he looks ahead, Andrew Lake plans to continue building his career by pursuing a commercial real estate license and focusing on opportunities in the South Florida market.
