Andrew Bissette

I'm an associate editor for Communications Chemistry, an open access Nature Research journal launched in 2017.

I studied chemistry at Manchester and then Oxford, carrying out doctoral research into self-reproducing systems. The origin of life presents, to my eyes, the most fascinating and challenging set of problems in science and natural history. Hopefully the work I did will contribute in some small way to addressing one of those problems.

Now I get to read world-class research manuscripts all day, from all areas of the chemical sciences, and to help share them with the community.
