I currently work as the Closing Coordinator & Title Analyst for RAM an asset management company. I am responsible for ensuring each property has a clear title and if any issues do arise, I determine the course of action to correct them. I am also responsible for the closing process of all properties. I review all documents, including HUDs, deed packages, and contracts, to be signed by the seller. Since my promotion to the closing department we have more than doubled the number of properties that close per month. I work with two other amazing individuals whom I trained, and together we represent the closing department.
I have worked in multiple industries: engineering, real estate, hospitality, and education. I worked for a year as an Engineer Tech at Siemens in Orlando, FL where I learned to read engineer drawings and work in multiple database programs. I also work as an assistant property manager for an apartment community. I took a short term position as a substitute teacher in an Inupiaq village in northern Alaska.
I enjoy my current position as Closing & Title Coordinator because every day I am met with new challenges. I constantly have to find new ways to overcome the obstacle of clearing title, overcoming contract negotiations, and solving spur-of-the-moment repairs caused by vandalism, Mother Nature, or just bad luck.
I have recently earned a bachelor of science in finance from University of Central Florida and a MBA from Cleveland State University with a GPA of 3.58. I have strong experience working in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as, SAP and property management software.
I’m always interested in hearing from former colleagues, managers, or just interesting and creative folk, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to connect. Andrew.CharlesUCF@hotmail.com
