Andrew is a communications professional with over 26 years of experience in media, government and the non-profit sector. Andrew excels at story-telling and building relationships with assignment editors, news directors and broadcast producers who help share stories that connect with people and communities.

Andrew has been with the Nature Conservancy of Canada since 2011 and serves as the National Media Relations Director and also Government Relations Director for the Atlantic Provinces.

Previously, Mr. Holland was a civil servant in the New Brunswick Government doing communications in various departments including Transportation, Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour and Natural Resources.

Prior to that, he served four years as Executive Assistant & Communications Director in the constituency office of Federal cabinet minister, the late Andy Scott, who was an MP in Ottawa for 15 years.

Before entering politics, Andrew worked in newsrooms for 14 years as a news and sports reporter and broadcaster. He was also host and producer of a weekly TV political talk show in New Brunswick from 1992-2003.

Andrew is an avid sports fan who enjoys baseball and hockey pools and runs on a regular basis for his own periods of reflection, mental clarity and sanity! Andrew also volunteers at running events when help is needed.

Married to Helene, they have a 15 year old son Alexandre and their second golden retriever named Gus.
