Andrew Alexander is a producer known for his work in improv, television, and elsewhere in the field of comedy. Born in London, England, the producer held a range of varied jobs before making his mark on the field of comedy. This included stints as a cab driver, waiter, and magazine editor. His start in entertainment came about after seeing the potential of the budding improv comedy scene of the mid-1970s, causing him to transition into a role as a producer in the field.

In this capacity, he has produced and developed content for live theater shows in collaboration with some of the best-known performers in the field. This has included work with Gilda Radner, Dan Aykroyd, and John Candy. He has also developed and executive produced a range of award-winning television content that has helped shift the nature of comedy in a profound and lasting fashion.

Andrew Alexander is also known for his work supporting the broader field of entertainment and performers around the world. In this capacity, he has acted as an Honorary Member of the Chicago Gilda’s Club Board and has served on the board of the League of Chicago Theaters as well as the Canadian Walk of Fame.
