Andrew Fowler (b. 1954), is a composer/arranger, pianist, and vocalist. He received a B.A. (piano performance) and M.A. (music theory) from the University of South Carolina, and a Ph.D (music theory) from the University of Texas at Austin. The music he writes reflects his wide ranging interest in music of all kinds, from Beck to Bartok to Bach. As a performer, his varied repertoire spans a similarly broad compass of musical styles, although he is best known in the Grand Strand region for his piano/vocal jazz stylings of the great American Songbook tradition.
