Coming out of college with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a Business Administration Minor, I began a career in the Healthcare industry, working at Tufts Health Plan. Progressing to the Health Programs department, I contributed to the mission, which was to implement programs to improve health and quality of care delivered to members and the community. This initiative was achieved by launching informative educational campaigns through literature and serial personal correspondence. Using quality analysis and metric reporting to determine goals for members and cater that to services offered by vendors, keeping THP in the Top 10 in National Quality Rankings.
Concurrently, I’ve been involved in the local Boston music scene, managing/playing in a band, as well as working with a startup service based/investment music management company as a consultant; launching online media campaigns for artists in line with promotion of new content and overall brand growth. I worked within the genre of the artist while offering unique marketing strategies to each campaign. While executing these campaigns, I attended the Business of Music program at Berklee College of Music, gaining new insight to the current trends in the Music Industry.
This combination of innovative and creative experiences has led me down the path of enrolling in the Startup Institute Boston Marketing track, to work with growing startup companies looking to interact directly with consumers and grow their brand and communities.
