I am an independent HR Consultant, working with senior level managers mainly in Small and Medium sized businesses.
Most recently I worked in AkzoNobel (previously ICI) where latterly I had HR accountability for the Global Marketing & Innovation functions. In this role my major challenge was the identification, acquisition, development, and retention of talented people, and the provision of HR support for the executive team.
I have managed cross-culturally for many years, worked with board level employees, coached leaders, created and implemented talent development and review strategies, completed assessments and developed reward programmes. I have experience of using psychometrics, face to face delivery, programme management and HR Strategy Development. In addition I have managed large-scale redundancy exercises and discipline. I also have successfully managed projects of various sizes and managed HR Information Systems.
