I was born on August 20, 1992 in Maryland Heights, Missouri and has lived there for most of my life. For most of my childhood, I have enjoyed reading the newspaper and have always wanted to help people. It was not until middle school when it became apparent that writing was one of my strengths. As a result, it all of the above came together to become my dream job of being a journalist.
From August 2011 to May 2012, I recieved my first experience writing for my high school newspaper, the Pattonville Pirate Press. I graduated from Pattonville High School in May 2012 with Summa Cum Laude.
Currently, I am a sophmore at Southeast Missouri State Univerisity. I am a staff writer on the campus newspaper, The Arrow. I have a beat at the campus library and have had one of my stories adapted for the campus radio station. I want to be a multimedia journalist, but I would like to focus on writing news and human-interest stories.
In addition, I am a brother in the co-ed service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, and am an active Christian through IT Student ministries.
