He serves as Regional Assistant Director of the University of Central Oklahoma's (UCO) Korea Office.

He works with UCO's many regional partners to support students as they prepare for university in Oklahoma.

He is passionate about supporting students. He's taught English language learners from South Korea, China (at The University of Macau), Lithuania (with the U.S. Department of State), and Mexico (with AmeriCorps).

He first came to Korea in 2014, as an English instructor, based in Changwon. Two rewarding years of teaching inspired him to pursue a U.S. graduate degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL)

He returned to South Korea in 2018 as a Global Korean Scholar (GKS), invited by the National Institute of International Education (NIIED). After one year of Korean language study at Keimyung University, he pursued a graduate degree from Seoul National University GSIS.
