Andrew Bannister
freelance project manger in Leeds, United Kingdom
I help organisations to develop clear visions, strategy and planning objectives and lead multi-disciplined teams with a meticulous, calm, concrete and positive attitude.
I’ve delivered culture change, engagement and communications programmes on multiple continents, live event production and video broadcasts the world over and highly specialised web platforms for some of the world’s leading organisations.
I deliver workshops and interviews to define business and audience needs and work with project stakeholders to define complex project requirements.
I’ve worked within Agile and traditional software development, defining user requirements, leading prototype development, carrying out user testing and overseeing technical delivery.
I'm responsible for the project bottom line, managing risk and making sure the project team completes on time and on budget.
I'm also an endurance runner, cyclist and qualified Health, Fitness & Nutrition specialist. I have recently cycled across the Pyrenees, the Alps and the Dolomites and I’ve lived on a desert island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean for a month, where I survived on a diet of fish, coconuts and rainwater.
I think the Earth is incredible and Space is awe inspiring. Truth be told, I'm probably most at home when I'm lost in the mountains.
