Andrew Brown MD
Cambridge, Massachusetts
I’m Andrew.
I am a University of Toronto radiology resident attending MIT’s Sloan School of Management. But most of those boring details can be found on LinkedIn. You probably want to know a little more about me than my med school class or my teaching dossier.
I’m the son of loving immigrant parents who taught me that we all have the capacity to change the world – it really just depends on your frame of reference. For my parents, their kids meant the world to them. They spent every waking minute ensuring my brother and I ate our vegetables, made it to little league games on time and went to university.
My world is medicine. I am keenly interested in the intersection between healthcare and technology. If you catch me day dreaming, I’m probably thinking up some crazy idea for a process or tool that improves health. An experience in my first year of medical school has made me obsessed with providing high quality healthcare with less morbidly and mortality. (Ask me about that story sometime)
Ultimately, I aim to live my life in such a way that I can go to bed each night knowing that I’m working towards making a difference in the world.
