Writing is my passion. I'm a long-time journalist, with awards from regional and national press associations. I’m fascinated to learn about others.

I am experienced in both the digital and traditional journalism worlds. I’ve pushed my newspaper to adapt to a world where more people get news online and digital tools allow for storytelling in creative ways. I grew the Twitter account and introduced it into our workflow and manage our Facebook page.

Journalism now extends beyond just interviewing and publishing. I’m looking for audiences to engage with my stories. I’m using analytics to build engagement and connections with our online readers, using what I learned at the Poynter Institute and the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americans,

I have a dog, two cats and like to lace up my shoes and run.
