Andrew Dones

Hi there!

I’m Andrew. I’m a 2nd-year Creative Industries student at Ryerson University, specializing in Communications and Marketing. I like to think of Creative Industries as being at the intersection of creativity and commerce. The program cultivates my business and entrepreneurial skills while also allowing me to gain knowledge about the entertainment industry.

Aside from school, I work at Ryerson as a Student Ambassador. In this role, I empower students to make an informed decision about their postsecondary careers through 1:1 chats, campus tours, and other small-scale events.

I am also a Digital Marketing Associate at the Ryerson French Club. I create engaging content (e.g. memes, grammar rules) and promote our events through social media and email marketing.

I am passionate about digital marketing and community outreach. I enjoy fostering a sense of community on social media and creating content that sparks meaningful discussions. I also enjoy working with brands to develop new ways to engage their target audience, whether that be an event or a social media campaign.

I'm available and interested in social media, digital marketing, and communication roles. My ultimate goal is to work in the entertainment industry as a marketing or communications professional.
