Andrew Elsoffer is an outdoorsman, soccer coach, and community leader in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1982, he graduated with a degree in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
Once Andrew graduated in 1982, he played soccer semi-professionally in Ann Arbor, Michigan for the Ann Arbor Cannon Soccer Club, and later professionally for the Detroit Kickers (1983-1984). After dedicating his time as a financial advisor, Andrew found himself missing the sport. He knew he had to return into the sport. He turned to coaching. The result? Andrew has been a soccer coach for over 20 years. He has coached high school, college, and club teams. What’s more, he also is the former President of the Orange Crush Soccer League in his hometown community.
For Andrew Elsoffer, his time as a coach has been one of the most rewarding aspects of his life. During the season, five nights out of the week, if not more, are spent on the field. He believes that through coaching, he has the biggest opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people. Coaching has been Andrew’s opportunity to promote a team-first, respect for the individual philosophy.
Many of Andrew's outdoor adventures take place in Michigan. The state is close to his heart. It's where he graduated college, married his wife, and had his son. Recently, the family built a home there, which they visit as frequently as their schedules allow.
Andrew is an avid biker, and he also enjoys fishing and hiking. When he's not spending time in Michigan, he can be found coaching soccer and giving investment advice to his community in Cleveland.
