Waako Andrew Ernest

Hi, I’m Waako Andrew Ernest. I’m a director living in Uganda. I am a fan of volunteering, education, and sports. I’m also interested in technology and entrepreneurship.

Am a born again Christian Ugandan standing out as a voice for the voiceless in rural communities. I started a charitable foundation in 2023 called Amazing Hope Uganda aiming at helping the less fortunate people, community, children and women empowerment and evangelism within the community.

I have rescued 15 children from abuse by their relatives, taken in 7 orphan children, 2 widows and an old woman. I have also managed to lobby funds and setup a church within my community so as to extend Christianity within the rural areas. The church is winning souls for the Lord. It's within a rented area but glad the land owner is a kind Christian who allowed us set this project on his property.

Our orphanage home is rented within the rural areas. Here we provide food, shelter, clothing and education for 23 children. A meal for the home costs 15$, share a meal with us so that we can have more that only one meal per day. The children are studying within a community school charging 43$ per term in school, having 3 terms per year. Support a child with anything, like clothes, scholastic requirements, food, clean water to secure a better future for them.
