I have a background in business and finance. In Albuquerque, New Mexico, I received my B.B.A. in Marketing Management at The University of New Mexico – Anderson School of Management. Upon graduation I began working in Finance for four years. I decided to make a career shift and become an Attorney. I enrolled at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Three years later I would graduate and receive my J.D. along with a certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution. I became license to practice law in the state of Illinois. I have legal experience at The John Marshall Law School's Veterans Legal Support Center where I assisted in need Veterans with disability benefits and discharge upgrades while also gaining courtroom experience in petty offense. I interned at Saper Law gaining experience in entertainment law, intellectual property, and trademarks law. Next, I interned as clerk for Justice Michael Hyman in the Illinois Appellate Court where I observed many appellate hearings and excelled in providing extensive legal research, writing appellate briefs, and speeches. I have worked for various eDiscovery companies where I reviewed and analyzed complex commercial agreements and extracted key contract information for use in upcoming transactions. Currently I am the Managing Partner of Farmer & Espinosa, LLC who provides consulting and legal services to the cannabis industry.
