Andrew Marchand-Boddy is an award winning director and cinematographer living in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Andrew graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production and Film Studies from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema in Montreal. He also spent one year studying Spanish and Latin American cinema in Mexico as an international student at Universidad Iberoamericana.

Andrews work spans 5 countries, 4 languages, and several genres, some of his recent awards include Best Emerging Director at the Montreal International Documentary Festival; Best Documentary at the Victoria Film Festival; Best Feature Film at the Wales International Documentary Festival; Best International Short Film at the Santo Domingo Film Festival; and a nomination for Best Cinematography at the DOCUTAH Festival.

He pulls his inspiration from the many people he encounters and the wonder of the natural world. Andrew is currently dividing his time between working on commercial shoots in Vancouver, editing his new feature film Vacation From Jail, and writing a documentary about migration within Mexico.
