I am standing as an Independent candidate in Melksham East ward and hoping to be elected as a Town Councillor for Melksham Town Council in the election being held on Thursday 5th October 2023.

With no affiliation to any political party or lobbying group, this is my first foray into community administration. My view is that at local level, the council’s focus should be on the requirements of the community and residents, without undue influence from national political parties.

In the coming days and weeks I will start my campaign in earnest with a website and focused FaceBook page, and hope to gain your support and votes on polling day.
