I was a senior game developer for a large independent video games development company based in the heart of England. I have been programming since 1982 on various home computers, workstations and video games consoles (large and small).

I received my DPhil in Computer Science in 1997 and I am really concerned that fewer and fewer games programming graduates seem to know how to program games. I am trying to hark back to the good ol’ days and put something back into the system. That is; spending more time programming with computers and less time using them to write on social networks!

I work closely with the Computing At School working group and collaborated with the development of the "Raspberry Pi Educational User Manual"

If you'd like to know more about what I do; take a look at my Wordpress blog, my Linked-In bio, my Twitter feed, my Facebook status or Google+ page.
