Andrew Katakis

Hailing from the small town of Turlock, California, Andrew Katakis functions as a California State University (CSU), Stanislaus-educated real estate professional currently residing in Modesto. Mr. Katakis broke into the real estate industry in 1987, shortly after graduating from CSU Stanislaus with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In his first professional position, he served as a Branch Manager with Commonwealth United Mortgage in Modesto. In this role, Andrew Katakis’ responsibilities encompassed all administrative aspects of the company’s operations. Mr. Katakis oversaw loans, customer services, and security while maintaining consistently strong sales numbers. Under his leadership, branch goals for business sales, account retention, and new client referrals were continually met or exceeded.

After several years with Commonwealth United Mortgage, Andrew Katakis founded California Equity Management Group, Inc. Offering assistance with buying and selling homes in Modesto and the surrounding areas, the success of the company led to expansion in 2003. In order to provide real estate services to a broader clientele, Andrew Katakis launched Granite Realty, a new division of his company. He now serves as President for both entities. Additionally, he maintains responsibility for the operations of Lender’s Financial Group, LLC, and Global Discoveries, Ltd., as Managing Member for both.

Outside of his professional duties, Andrew Katakis works with several charity organizations, including Alley Cat Guardians and Community Hospice, Inc. During his leisure time, he enjoys outdoor activities like mountain biking and water sports. He also holds membership with the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Modesto.
