Before he reached the age of 30, Andrew Lazenby had climbed all 283 Munros, Scottish mountains over 3,000 feet high. This effort and determination extends to his professional life as well, as he has risen to increasingly demanding positions at several global firms. Andrew Lazenby possesses expertise in customer engagement and retention; targeted and segmentation marketing; and direct marketing through all online channels, print, direct mail, and inbound and outbound telesales channels. Additionally, Andrew Lazenby has built brands in several European markets. For nearly 12 years, Andrew Lazenby held top-level management positions in the retail business of Shell U.K. Limited and Shell Global. After accepting a position with the company as a graduate entrant, Andrew Lazenby served in rotating roles before becoming Retail Promotions Manager of Shell U.K. Limited. His next position sent him to the Middle East, where he served as Retail Manager of Shell Oman. In his final post at Shell Gas Direct, Andrew Lazenby acted as Business Development Manager. During his time with Shell, he also completed the Shell Marketing mini MBA program. Andrew Lazenby joined Capital One (Europe) plc in 2000, leading the Partnerships Team. In this role, he identified and implemented partnership opportunities and executed numerous major initiatives. As Targeted Channels Manager at Capital One (Europe) plc, Andrew Lazenby held responsibility for direct marketing efforts. In 2005, he accepted a position as Customer Marketing Director at AOL (UK) Limited, and following the sale of AOL’s access business in 2007, he moved to Dell Inc. as Consumer Marketing Director of Dell EMEA. Subsequently, Andrew Lazenby became Vice President of Marketing for Affinion International Ltd., where he oversaw efforts in all European markets. At Jesus College, University of Oxford, Andrew Lazenby earned a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering Science. When not pursuing his professional goals, Andrew Lazenby continues to climb mountains, and has participated in expeditions to Bavaria, Norway, and Tibet. In addition, Andrew Lazenby returns periodically to the Scottish Highlands. An enthusiastic adventurer, he has traveled throughout Europe and to countries such as Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Peru, India, Nepal, Yemen, Syria, Namibia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Andrew Lazenby also enjoys cooking, scuba diving, and playing bridge.
