Andrew Momoh Saffa

Andrew Momoh Saffa is an Economist and a law student living in Sierra Leone. His, academic and professional life has been for the most part accompanied by impact creation and outcome-driven leadership.

He is the Director of Finance for LEGAL PLATFORM: a non-profit company incorporated in Sierra Leone with the mission to provide cutting edge solutions to the problems in the Sierra Leone legal system.

He led the Department of Economics and Commerce, Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone as the Students' President, a position held for a year with impacts for the 2018/2019 academic year. He has a very strong interest in entrepreneurship, public health, International Relations and commerce.

Contributing to society through activism on national and world issues is an enduring hallmark for Saffa dating back from his earlier teenage years and now as a youth. His interest in activism started when he became a school head boy for his primary school which gave him the opportunity to start public speaking and eventually joining CHILDREN'S CLUB, CHILDREN DIALOGUE GROUP, and later the CHILDREN'S FOUM NETWORK(CFN) the latter empowered under the Child Rights Act. These organizations were eye-openers to his several other leadership roles which he would later embark on in the subsequent years. His academic prowess, leadership experience, and good interpersonal relations earned him the head boy position and presidency for both the debating society and Anti-violence Movement of the Providence International High School in Freetown. University education at Fourah Bay College is mostly very taxing. This, however, did not sway him away from his deeply held passion for Activism. He established and joined several organizations including END7: a health advocacy organizations on neglected tropical diseases in which he served as coordinator of Universities, Reaching for the Stars Foundation (RIFTS), National Alliance Against Hepatitis(NAAH), Sierra Leone International Model United Nations (SIMUN)a UN simulation Organisation in Sierra Leone where he serves as Director of Finance and Chaired the Economics and Finance committee in the SIMN19 conference.

Core beliefs include rights tohealthcare, human rights and education and economic justice for all.
