Andrew Ress

Dr. Andrew Ress serves as the primary plastic surgeon at his private practice in Boca Raton, Florida. Dr. Ress has worked at Ress Plastic Surgery (previously known as the Ress Institute) since returning to Florida in 1997. He has studied extensively at some of the most prestigious hospitals and clinics across the country. Dr. Andrew Ress holds certification from the National Board of Medical Examiners; the American Board of Surgery, Inc.; and The American Board of Plastic Surgery, Inc. Dr. Andrew Ress is known for the high caliber of his work and his kind bedside manner. Specializing in plastic surgery for the face, nose, and breasts, he also performs a full complement of surgical procedures, including tummy tucks, Botox, Restylane, and liposuction. Dr. Andrew Ress also regularly treats melanoma skin cancer with Mohs surgery and performs reconstructive surgery after cancer treatment. Dr. Andrew Ress graduated cum laude from Cornell University in 1984. He then attended the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1988. Dr. Andrew Ress then completed a residency in surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in 1992. He earned the role of Chief Resident from July 1992 to June 1993 before leaving to serve as a Research Fellow in Plastic Surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Andrew Ress later fulfilled a residency in plastic surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine, then a hand surgery fellowship at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. From 1998 to 2003, he served as a Voluntary Assistant Professor of Surgery (Plastic) at the University of Miami School of Medicine. In addition to his private practice at Ress Plastic Surgery, Dr. Andrew Ress currently serves on the staff of Boca Raton Regional Hospital, West Boca Medical Center, and Boca Raton Outpatient Surgery & Laser Center. He also holds courtesy staff privileges at North Broward Medical Center. Dr. Andrew Ress formerly served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Florida Chapter of Operation Smile.
