Contract Administrator, Civil engineer, and Scheduler in West Palm Beach, Florida
I’m Andrew S. Dutil, a civil engineer, project management professional, and independent consultant based in West Palm Beach, Florida. My work focuses on project controls, scheduling, estimating, contract administration, earned value analysis, and claims support for complex construction and infrastructure projects.
Over the years, I’ve worked across commercial construction, program scheduling, cost engineering, contract administration, and civil works.
A large part of my career was spent with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where I supported projects in Florida and Europe. That experience gave me the opportunity to work closely with engineers, project managers, contractors, contracting officers, and legal teams while helping projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with contract requirements.
I’m especially interested in solving problems before they become bigger issues. Whether I’m reviewing a schedule, analyzing a delay, preparing an estimate, or working through a contract change, I try to combine technical knowledge with practical judgment and clear communication.
I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and my Master of Architecture from Norwich University, graduating cum laude with both degrees. I’m also a Project Management Professional and have completed additional training in contracting, facilities engineering, and workplace safety.
Before my civilian career, I served in the U.S. Army and am a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom II. That experience reinforced the importance of teamwork, preparation, discipline, and perseverance, all of which continue to shape how I approach my work today.
