I’m a collaboration and communications engineering specialist with a commitment to customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and education. For nearly 15 years, I worked with customers in retail environments, so I quickly learned the value of empathy, patience, and problem-solving when it comes to resolving issues and finding solutions.

During that time over the span of four years, I completed an MBA and a master’s in information assurance while working full-time, sometimes at two jobs.

I set high standards for myself when it comes to work quality, and I encourage and foster the same caliber of service and output from my team members. I’m often tapped for stretch assignments, which I enjoy for the challenge and trust that I’ve earned from leadership.

I credit my effectiveness to these strengths:

►Business Acumen: I capitalize on my MBA and a broad command of IT methodologies to apply vision, process, and outcome in my work, to anticipate the long-term impact of technical solutions on business operations and respond accordingly.

► Process Improvement: For me, working at optimal efficiency isn’t an option. I develop tools and protocols for myself and to share with others. I like having the time to focus on the task at-hand and be available for other demands.

► Accountability: Mistakes are inevitable, but owning and learning from them is a choice. I practice and expect accountability from others. I believe it helps unify a team to function better overall, and ultimately promote interdependence.

► Team Leadership: My ground-up experience gives me the perspective to do more than manage a team. I share and adapt my past challenges, approaches, successes, and lessons learned to help colleagues stretch their creative and technical aptitudes beyond perceived limits.
