Andrew Silverstein

Andrew Silverstein is a life-long New Yorker with a passion for public policy and education reform.

Andrew graduated from Cold Spring Harbor High School in 2009, where he played varsity football, acted in the musicals, and served as student government president. He attended Emory University from 2009 to 2010. In 2013, Andrew graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with honors distinction in Political Science and a concentration in International Relations. His academic coursework included international security, American government, economics, and education policy. While at Penn, Andrew worked for the 2012 Obama reelection campaign, volunteered as a debate coach at a local high school, and was a member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity.

Andrew currently teaches in the South Bronx with Teach For America.

Andrew loves discussing politics, playing golf, reading biographies, and spending time with his friends and family.
