Andrew Sommerhalder

A member of CPA Canada, Andrew Sommerhalder is an experienced controller with Envision. Drawing upon more than 15 years of experience, Andrew Sommerhalder manages the design company's financial reporting activities and is responsible for all accounting functions. Regarding the latter, he works with external accountants to conduct business assessments and provides oversight of invoice processing as well as journal entries and reconciliations for five separate entities.

Prior to joining Envision in 2019, Andrew Sommerhalder worked as an accountant at Canadian Tours International. He previously served concurrently as CFO at Hedy Canada, Inc. and GS Medical Packaging, Inc., where he managed and monitored accounts payable and receivable and coordinated all company corporate tax. In addition to his accounting responsibilities, he managed all human resource functions for both companies.

Mr. Sommerhalder spent the first 11 years of his career as CFO and controller at Apotheceutics, Inc. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and completed accounting programs at Seneca College. A sandwich enthusiast, he enjoys visiting restaurants in his hometown of Toronto and elsewhere in search of the world's best sandwich.
