Andrew South

Dymchurch, Kent

I am an effective communicator with experience in public relations, media, campaigning, customer service and promotions in general.

I have holiday company experience with Saga Holidays customer service team, and have worked in a call centre environment on and off for about the last five-and-a-half years.

I have been working in market research in Ashford although work can be sporadic, so I am looking for a new challenge to get my teeth into.

Although I excel in telephone communications, I am even more effective with the written word having worked in commercial public relations and in communications roles with the RSPB, and was a national press officer for four years, appearing on countless media broadcasts including the the BBC One O'clock News and the Today Programme!

I was one of only three Gamesmakers in the Sustainability Team at the London 2012 Olympics, engaging a variety of audiences about the sustainability and biodiversity story of the Olympic Park.

In my spare time, I enjoy plenty of activities such as badminton, swimming, cycling and walking and I am still a keen conservationist, having carried out practical work for the White Cliffs and Romney Marsh Countryside Projects locally and in France.
