Andria Kern is a young, passionate individual who’s focused on making a difference in this world. As the guru behind social media for the Project Green Challenge initiative, she promotes global sustainability, teen leadership, educational equality, and healthy lifestyle choices. During her undergraduate years at the University of Colorado and California State University- Chico, Andria developed her drive and passion to help teens make smarter, healthier lifestyle choices. Her involvement with organizations such as CoPIRG, Alpha Phi Foundation, The American Heart Association, Tiburon Salmon Institute, the Haiti Relief Fund, Hurricane Katrina Supply Drive, AIDS Foundation, & the Susan G. Koman Foundation helped solidify her motivation to encourage her generation to stand up and get active. As an avid food-purist who strictly follows the paleo lifestyle, Andria’s natural ability to connect with her peers through social media has helped encourage others to go from conventional to conscious through simple, straight forward daily actions. Having visited over twelve countries, on four different continents, Andria has developed a global perspective on how to use social media as a tool and hopes to inspire her peers to take initiative to make the world a more sustainable place. Andria has a BA in Communication Studies and Public Affairs with a minor in marketing. Currently, she is in her first year of graduate school at Boston University, studying project management and international marketing.
