Andry Dilindra was born in Jakarta on March 30th, 1981. He spent his childhood in East Timor and returned to Jakarta in 1999 to continue his studies at the University of Indonesia. In the same year, he started photography as a hobby. After graduating in 2004, he decided on photography as his career.
At the end of 2007, he became an associate photographer for Anton Ismael at "Third Eye Studio" (2007–2011), a photo production company engaged in the commercial photography industry.
Early in 2012, he joined a photo production company called "Tiga13elas" as an associate photographer.
In 2018, he started an analog photography community called "Photowalkramean" (@photowalkramean), which has become one of Indonesia's largest analog photography communities.
In 2019, he participated as a teacher in Kelas Pagi Jakarta, a free photography class formed by Anton Ismael, a professional photographer and director.
In 2020, he formed @pwr_class, a photography class that teaches analog photography, including developing film and courses in street photography.
