Andy Zulla has been awarded a Grammy, an Emmy, a Telly, 20 Gold and Platinum albums; as well as charting #1 on multiple Billboard charts. He has mixed records for many artists such as Rod Stewart, Kelly Clarkson, Backstreet Boys, Jessica Simpson, Michael Bolton, Kenny G, Teddy Geiger, Clay Aiken, Heather Headley, Diana Ross, Chrisette Michelle.
He received a Grammy Award for mixing Rod Stewarts Billboard #1 Album “The Great American Songbook Vol 3”. Rod’s first Grammy and first #1 album since the 70s. As mixer for Rod’s successful Songbooks Vol 3 & 4, he also had the honor of mixing all the guest artists including: Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Chaka Kahn, Dolly Parton, Bette Midler, Chris Botti, Dave Koz and Arturio Sandival. Following that he mixed another Clive Davis produced project, Kenny Gs “Duets” album where he mixed the collaborations with multiple artists including, LeAnn Rimes, Yolanda Adams, Brian McKnight & Daryl Hall.
As part of the American Idol team in the early seasons, he recorded and mixed the song that started it all. Kelly Clarkson’s “A Moment Like This” skyrocketed to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart breaking the Beatle’s long standing record as the quickest climb to #1. Following that he again worked with Kelly on the huge hit “Miss Independent”. He went on to work with other Idol alums including the title cut from Clay Aiken’s debut album “Measure of a Man” as well as Clay’s entire #1 Billboard charting Christmas album “Merry Christmas With Love”, and Kelly and Carrie Underwood’s ‘Sessions at AOL’ TV specials. He, along side Melissa Manchester, recorded and mixed Diana DeGarmo’s remake of “Don’t Cry Out Loud”. Continuing his affiliation with television competition winners, he recorded and mixed the studio album for 2013 Americas Got Talent music winner, Forte. He also also produced and/or mixed albums for Kelly Roland, Kristinia Debarge, Eliane Elias, Paula Deanna, Disney, Rockapella, Diana King, Westlife, The Stylistics, Funky Poets, Debbie Gibson, Flex, Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers, Matt Zarley, Rich Price, The Sweet Remains, Five Times August, Rachael Sage, & Erica Heynatz. Andy’s tunes have appeared on several of Billboard’s charts including the Hot 100 Albums, Soundtracks, Jazz, New Age, Adult Contemporary, and R&B charts.
As a composer for TV, he has been awarded and Emmy, a Telly as well as an ITS International Monitor Award. He earned the Emmy as
