Serving as the Director for Institutional Effectiveness for Southeastern University, I am responsible for coordinating educational and organizational assessment processes. In addition, I coordinate, under the direction of the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, various quality enhancement initiatives.
Outside of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, I serve as an adjunct faculty member for the College of Christian Ministries and Religion and the Department of Behavioral Social Sciences. Since Spring 2009, I have taught sections of Organizational Behavior and Leadership, Leadership Styles, Christ, Culture, & the University, Introduction to the Bible, and Homiletics II. Additionally, I have developed numerous online courses for both departments.
Beyond Southeastern, I am a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. Active ministry includes a mentorship program for university students at Harvest Assembly (Lakeland, FL) and preaching in local assemblies and congregations. I started AM Media Creators in 2007 with a desire to operate a full-service media development company. Initial efforts focused on custom websites and professional presentations. In recent years, the company has expanded its offerings to web hosting and e-learning development.
Personally, I am married to Rachael, a graduate of Life Christian University and Florida State Colleges. We are the proud parents of Grace Miller who was born on June 24, 2008. A second child is expected June 2012. We have resided in Lakeland, FL since August 2007.
In summary, I am passionate about the Church, organization/education assessment, organizational behavior and leadership, institutional effectiveness, change management, preaching and theology, emerging technologies, web design and online marketing, and social network optimization. I invest much of my time to understand how an organization can improve its processes, expectations on followers and leaders, and technology to advance its mission.
