Andy Grosso

At Riviera Partners, I perform retained searches for primarily VP Enginering, VP Product, and VP Sales, but have also completed searches for CEO, CFO and VP of Marketing. Prior to Riviera Partners, I had ten years of successful performance in high technology software sales and sales management. Among my accomplishments are over thirty two quarters of consistently beating my sales numbers. While at Parametric Technology Corporation I was ranked 11th out of over 800 sales representatives as revenues grew from $200M to over $800M and Parametric was the fifth largest software company in the world. After Parametric Technology, I was recruited as the 20th employee and 2nd sales person hired at Kana Communications (KANA). At Kana, I was ranked as the top sales performer among all sales people for three straight years, leaving as the number one Regional Director, responsible for the company’s largest territory generating greater than $24M in annual revenue. During my tenure Kana’s revenues grew from zero to over $150M while becoming one of the top ten most successful IPO’s of 1999. I have also sold at other firms including, Endeca Technology, Proofpoint, and Vericept.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife, Kimberley Yates Grosso and our three daughters Tessa (sweaty meaty), Reese (Boomer), and Alyssa (crunchy pickle). I am a graduate of Lake Forest College, with double majors in French and International Relations. I also enjoy playing Golf anywhere in Scotland and Ireland, Cooking with friends and Family, California Wineries (Buehler Vineyards, Flora Springs, and Yates Family Winery) International Travel particularly Bermuda, World War II History, Reading biographies, watching Boston Red Sox baseball, and Boston Bruins hockey. Any sort of comedy, but among my favorites are Mel Brooks and George Carlin.
