My name is Dr. Andy John Winthrop MD, FACS

Founder & Owner of Andy Winthrop ClinicChief Plastic Surgeon at Andy Winthrop Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. Founder of Winthrop Global Foundation, an organization dedicated to medical philanthropy with a special focus on Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

I am a graduate of Stanford School of Medicine and I completed my residency at Stanford Medical Center, where I specialized in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

I am the Chief Plastic Surgeon at Andy Winthrop Medical Clinic, a private practice owned by Winthrop Global Foundation, a philanthropic organization committed to compassionate, high quality care.

My mission is rooted in medical philanthropy bringing essential healthcare in the form of plastic reconstruction for victim of natural disaster and conflict, also helping children who would otherwise be left behind by circumstance, geography, or poverty. Children do not choose the conditions into which they are born, yet millions continue to face preventable illness, untreated injuries, and limited access to even the most basic medical services.

Plastic surgery carries a unique responsibility. To heal a patient is not only to save a life today, but to safeguard tomorrow with restored confidence and dignity.
