Andrew J. Lupinek
Hi there! My name is Andrew J. Lupinek, and I hail from the great (and usually cold) state of Minnesota. Currently a junior at Gustavus Adolphus College, I am studying Theatre Honors, with minors in Arts Administration and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies.
If I'm not studying somewhere on campus or eating Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream while watching Netflix in my room, you'll probably find me in the Theatre and Dance building where I spend most of my time.
One of my favorite things about college is being able to discover who you are and why you are who you are. Since coming to Gustavus, I have found a love for addressing social injustice, and have found many outlets that have enabled me to pour out my love and support for others in a variety of realms. One of these is our campus' social justice theatre troupe, I Am We Are, which I have been a member of for 3 years. It is through this group that I have been and continue to be able to learn and grow as a social justice advocate, and am given many opportunities to share stories with the campus through theatre performances and workshops that reflect many of the issues that face our world today.
I am someone who loves to explore and expand himself. Some people might say I am too involved, but I find there to be value in every opportunity, and I strive to better myself each and every day.
I love to sing, dance, and perform. I love to teach and be taught. I love to inspire and be inspired. If you take anything away from me, I hope it is my creative mind and childlike spirit.
