Ever since I wrote my first lines of BASIC on an Intel 286-powered IBM PC, I've been in love with computers. I'm intoxicated by software and systems, and I want to spend the rest of my life delivering technology that solves the world's toughest problems.
i'm currently an Associate at GGV Capital. I focus on funding growth-stage technology startups in cloud computing and IT infrastructure, big data, enterprise software, security, and gaming.
Prior to joining GGV, I served at NetApp as a product manager and software engineer. I managed the company's design efforts behind overall product security and was one of the original developers of NetApp Synergy. I was also lucky enough to have spent time at SAP, Microsoft, and Electronic Arts. While I was at EA I helped develop and ship The Godfather for the Xbox 360.
I graduated from San Jose State University in 2010 with my Bachelors in Economics and a Minor in Computer Science. I focused on mathematic economics and cryptography, and I was a national finalist in Microsoft's Imagine Cup for developing the algorithm and client-side analysis suite for The Tesla Project.
When I'm not at a keyboard I can be found running, hiking, and practicing kendo (Japanese fencing).
