Andy Joined Futurecity in October 2009, and is heading up our new Cambridge office, and managing several large new projects across the region. Since '94 I worked in contemporary public, collaborative and participative art, having worked on large regeneration based arts programmes, innovative digital media projects, and art/science collaborations. Having worked as an artist through the 90's, creating gallery based and public art works which culminated in projects as part of the art/architecture group Flatpack001 between 2001-03. For the last 7 years he has project managed artists engaging with the Greenwich Peninsula for London arts organisation Stream, where he is currently developing new mobile phone based experiences for outdoor play and engagement in the urban public realm. Alongside this he has managed programmes investigating new modes of creative learning for young people using digital technologies. This included project managing a 2 year action research project 'future something' for NESTA and UK arts organisation Artswork, working with leading UK interaction designers. Between 2005-07 he worked at the Interaction Research Studio, Goldsmiths, University of London, bringing together bioscientists and designers in new collaborations through 'Material Beliefs'.
