Andrew Scannell

Hello there. My name is Andy Scannell and I am a professional improv comedy performer in Times Square, NYC. In my life I have done all sorts of things in my life so far. I have spent so much of it performing on stages. I spent 8 years playing the trumpet, winning the Louis Armstrong Jazz award when I graduated high school (haven't touched it since). I was born into a family of singers, so I have done that most of my life. Never took a lesson, and yet have done over two dozen musicals and making it to the Massachusetts All State High School Chorus my sophomore year. I went to Salem State University for Theater Performance with a minor in Secondary Education. I worked through school as a pirate at the New England Pirate Museum. After a few years, I moved to New York City to pursue the dream of working in the New York theater scene. I soon joined 8 is Never Enough, an improv comedy troupe, and here I am!
