I've spent my whole career supporting UK higher education, further education and skills to effectively plan and manage information and learning technology. I love working for Jisc, meeting new people from across each sector and helping to make the UK the most digitally advanced education and research nation in the world.
I was previously responsible for managing Jisc infoNet’s website, the development and creation of advice and guidance in the form of infoKits, supporting and administering Jisc programmes, and facilitating sector-wide workshops. I have a degree in multimedia computing, a master’s in project management and recently completed an Institute of Leadership and Management coaching qualification.
I'm now an Account Manager for Jisc and responsible for developing relationships with institutional customers to ensure they derive maximum value from Jisc services and products and to champion their needs and requirements within Jisc.
I am part of the Jisc north team with a specialism in Jisc’s research and development activities delivered through the digital futures directorate.
Outside of work I co-kickstarted Purpos/ed with Doug Belshaw, a very exciting initiative where we crowd sourced peoples' understanding of what the purpose of education is. Some fascinating ideas, well worth a read! Even more importantly, I'm loving learning the joys of fatherhood.
