Andy Viktor Kuchma, prior to emigrating to the United States of America, served as a Ukrainian politician and businessman, the People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 8th convocation of Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament), and chairman of the "Solidarity of Right Forces" - Ukrainian political party.
Mr. Kuchma is a proven executive and statesman with a broad impact across private enterprise and public service. He has led organizational growth through strategic development and operational efficiency, while his civic work has improved infrastructure, streamlined supply chains, and fostered international collaboration.
Current Initiatives
Andy Kuchma is actively engaged as an investor in advanced drone technology and unmanned systems, participating in the development of multiple cutting-edge projects.
Since 2019, Andy Kuchma has served as Executive Chairman of K&D III LLC, specializing in the acquisition and trade of radioactive elements and rare earth materials. The company leads projects in Africa and Central Asia, including Libya, Niger, and the Kyrgyz Republic.
He is also Executive Chairman and co-owner of AirTrans LLC. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company ensured critical PPE shipments from Southeast Asia to the U.S.
As President and co-owner of American Industrial Group Inc., Mr. Kuchma supports sustainable import and export as well as manufacturing of disinfectants, PPE, and food & beverage products.
Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Mr. Kuchma has led major humanitarian efforts, co-founding Operation Sunflower and BIG UA to support demining and public safety. His initiatives, including Ocean of Hope deliver vital aid to displaced citizens, the military, and vulnerable communities.
Education
Born in Kyiv in 1969, Mr. Kuchma studied energy engineering at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, served in the Soviet Army (1987–1989), and earned a Master’s in Systems Engineering in 1993.
